Build · Concrete & Foundations
The work the rest of the house stands on.
Footings, slabs, foundation walls, retaining walls, structural concrete. Designed with a structural engineer, formed with care, poured cleanly, and finished to outlast the rest of the build.
What we handle
New residential foundations
ICF, formed concrete, and block foundations for additions, custom homes, and laneway suites. Tied to engineered drawings, inspected at every milestone.
Slabs and floors
Basement slabs, garage slabs, patio slabs, polished concrete floors. Properly prepared base, vapour barrier, mesh or rebar, and the right mix design.
Retaining walls
Engineered retaining walls in concrete or block, with proper drainage behind, for grade changes, walk-outs, and landscape work.
Foundation repair
Crack injection, structural patches, parge coats, and partial foundation replacement when the existing wall is past repair.
Structural concrete
Beams, lintels, transfer slabs, and structural elements for renovations that open up the plan.
Notes from the GTA
- We work with a structural engineer on every foundation job. The stamp on the drawings is what makes the work warrantable.
- Concrete is one of the few materials that punishes haste. We plan pours around weather and we do not rush curing.
- Foundation work that touches a neighbour's property requires notice and sometimes consent. We handle that conversation early.
Concrete is forgiving for a year and unforgiving for fifty.
