Build · Insulation & Air Sealing

Quiet, comfortable, efficient.

Insulation is the cheapest comfort upgrade in any renovation. We use the right product in the right assembly, air-seal everything before we close the wall, and document the work so it qualifies for rebates where it can.

What we handle

Closed-cell spray foam

For basements, rim joists, vaulted ceilings, and any assembly where vapour control and high R-value per inch matter most.

Open-cell spray foam

For interior wall cavities where sound absorption is the priority and full vapour control is not required.

Batt insulation

Mineral wool or fibreglass batt where the assembly suits it. Sized to the cavity, installed without compression, taped at the seams.

Blown-in cellulose

For attic spaces and retrofits where dense-pack is the right answer. We air-seal the ceiling plane first.

Air sealing

Caulking, gasketing, and proper detailing at every penetration. The invisible work that decides how warm the house actually feels in February.

Notes from the GTA

  • Rebate programs come and go. Where they exist, we document the work so the application is straightforward.
  • Most older Toronto homes are leaky before they are under-insulated. We air-seal first.
  • Heat pump retrofits often work better in insulated homes. We coordinate insulation with HVAC scope.

A well-insulated house is one of the few upgrades that is invisible and noticed every day.
